Thank you for visiting our site. We are organizing collections along the west coast to send to Haiti. Please take some time to read about us & who we are working with.
Our family business has teamed up with another family & their business to collect much needed supplies for the people of Haiti. We are collecting tents, tarps, blankets, & canned meats, to just name of few of the items to send to Haiti. Items can be new or used as long as they are in good working condition.
We are working with God's Littlest Angels, a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian ministry incorporated in the State of Colorado. They have been operating in Haiti since 1994. Not only are they an orphanage, they have multiple outreach programs in their community. They employ approx. 100 Haitians along with a number of Americans, Canadians and other “foreigners.” 90% of their Haitian staff lost their homes in the earthquake. Many of them also lost family members. Many of the supplies that we collect will go to help the community. A 6 person tent is enough for a family to call home but the problem is they don’t have the stores or funds to get one. That means that families will be sleeping in the rain.
We are now starting the construction of 4 homes to send to the mountains of Kenscoff. If you'd like to be involved in providing safe shelter for these people please email or give us a call.

You can send or drop off your donated items M-F 8-5 at:

17 February 2010

Another rainy night.  Hopefully, it will just be a light rain tonight!

Our relief items that were flown in on Monday were finally delivered to Fort Jacques.  We received lots of canned goods which will come in handy at the orphanage.  We also received tents, clothing, shoes, toys, diapers, baby formula, and lots of drinking water.  We will sort and go through it all tomorrow and Friday and start giving it out on Monday.

A team of 8 people from Minnesota arrived today to help us at the orphanage.  They had planned on coming to help with the children and do some some small projects.  For now, they will help sort items that arrived today and get things ready to give out to families. I am so happy to have people come who are willing to be flexible and do whatever is needed at the orphanage.  These are NOT normal times.  So to have a group of people who want to come bad enough that they are willing to arrive in the Dominican, take a bus to  Port-au-Prince, meet us at the airport, and then spend the rest of the day unloading two big trucks is awesome! I am very thankful to have them here!

When we returned home from Ft. Jacques, we had a sick baby that had come from another orphanage.  He had steadily lost weight since January.  He is now over a year old and weighs 9 1/2 pounds!  He weighed 16 pounds back in January, so he definitely has a problem!  He is on an IV and he also has a problem with parasites.  His name is Peterson.  Pray for him.

Miloudrine and papa on admission 2172010 Then during supper, Joyce received a call from the Toddler House that a papa had come with a 2 year old little girl.  He said the mother was killed during the earthquake and he had no one to care for her.  Her name is Miloudrine and she is a pretty little girl.  She is covered in scabies and has an infection of her skin. She also has a bad cough.  I think she will do well and hopefully get healthy and strong in the next couple of weeks.  At this point, papa wants to put her here for adoption, but he will return on Monday with a final decision and then we will see what he decides!  If he decides that he just wants to leave her here for a couple of months, that is alright too.
